About Us

KIS History

Kothari International School has been the fruit of laborious efforts of our founder, Sh. Mansukhbhai Mahadevbhai Kothari, a visionary, who painstakingly strove to create an environment to churn out the leaders of tomorrow. These leaders are imbued with high degrees of charisma, dynamism, confidence, and the ability to make informed decisions.

Formally inaugurated on 16th October 2005, the educational institution commenced its first academic session on 1st April 2006. Tiny tots were heartily welcomed into the brand-new premises to begin their initiation into formal education. From its humble beginnings with classes till grade 6, it has pivoted into a full-scale school with classes up to grade 12 offering three streams of study – Science, Commerce and Humanities.

The CBSE curriculum, along with our innovative practices and methodologies, caters to a broad range of potentialities where students thrive in their areas of interest while developing holistically. 

The K.I.S.P. building stands conspicuously in the IT hub of Pune, flanked by the World Trade Centre, City Vista Business Centre and EON IT Park in its close vicinity. It features state-of-the-art facilities and resources that support a rich and varied programme encompassing sports, performing arts, visual arts and a wide range of activities.

Each aspect of our school is geared towards the development of cognitive and effective skills with a prime focus on building 21st century skills.  Aside from the basic infrastructural facilities such as air-conditioning, well-equipped computer rooms, multimedia teaching equipment with a projector in each classroom, a sports arena, a swimming pool, we have been equally cognizant of the inner modalities of life.

At the core of everything, we are guided by a keen desire to provide the most conducive environment for children of this age to flourish by making the best use of all the tools, technology, pedagogical research and knowledge that we have at our disposal today.
